Welcome to our little neck of the web. Below is some information about our youth ministry as well as a few links and some videos to enjoy.

Each Sunday and Wednesday the middle and high school groups meet in what we call ‘The Loft’ for our bible studies. The Loft is our space, located on the second floor of the church building. It is equipped with capabilities for cable TV, internet access, video games and even has a space for our very own café, complete with drinks and snacks. The Loft is currently being revamped and updated even more, giving the youth an excellent spot to come hang out and engage in activities that lighten our hearts and deepen our souls.

Our classes are mostly topical, but always have a great deal of focus on Scripture- learning it, memorizing it and most importantly, living it. Whether you are in middle school or high school, we have a place for you here at Southern Hills. Our goal is to build strong relationships with each other as we all learn more about the AMAZING GOD we serve.

Annual events of the youth group include trips to Spring Mill Bible Camp, Youth in Action, FallFest Cincinnati, Illuminate, Elevate summer camp, Christian college visits, cookouts, camping trips, foreign and domestic mission trips, Christian music festivals such as Ichthus, and trips to Kings’ Island. In addition, we have regular meetings on Sunday evening. (1st and 3rd Sundays are for the middle school group and 2nd and 4th are for the high school group.) We also host a 5th Quarter event each fall after Salem High’s home football games, as well as other social and service activities throughout the school year. We’d love to have you come out.
