Our Leadership Team:
Our church is shepherded by three dedicated leaders who guide and care for our congregation with vision, wisdom, and a heart for service. Together, they provide spiritual oversight, support our ministries, and ensure that every part of our church aligns with our mission and values.
Each of our three shepherds brings unique gifts and experiences, working together to encourage growth, foster community, and equip our church family to live out their faith in practical, meaningful ways.
We are grateful for their leadership and invite you to join us in supporting them as they help lead our church forward.
We are trusting in the Lord’s perfect timing as we search for the right preacher to lead our congregation. Rather than rushing the process, we are prayerfully waiting for the person God is preparing for this role. We deeply appreciate any and all prayers and support during this season of discernment.
Jeff Day, Shepherd
My name is Jeff Day, and my wife is Tracy. We have three married children and are blessed with two grandchildren. We have attended Southern Hills since its beginning in 1991, and I have had the privilege of serving as a shepherd since 2004. I love getting to know people and hearing their stories of how God has worked in their lives. I enjoy Bible study and helping others grow in their faith. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and watching sports.

My name is Jimmy Cockerill, and I have been attending Southern Hills Church since 2010. I have had the privilege of serving as a shepherd for about seven years. I love God first, then my wife, followed by our eight amazing kids. I am passionate about serving God and helping bring others into His eternal Kingdom. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.
